CO2 reduction and energy management

With our own biomass power plants, we have been generating CO₂-neutral green electricity and heat for over 50 years .

Our company premises also include our own hydropower plant. This means that we use another particularly environmentally friendly and sustainable resource to generate electricity.

In addition to our existing photovoltaic systems on our German company buildings, we are currently investing over 2 million euros in a new, state-of-the-art system for our plant in Bulgaria.

Investments of several million euros in this area in recent years have already saved 2,376,310 KWh of electricity, among other things.

As a result, the production of WC seats at our headquarters in Rosenheim will become CO₂-neutral in 2022.
